My good friend and colleague Claudyne retired from 35 years of teaching school. I wanted to make her a special quilt so that she would remember me. I knew her favorite color was red and that her home is decorated in "country colors" so this Moda fabric was perfect! It's called the "Friendship Star". I added the corner 4-patch so that it would make a chain effect when pieced.
Friendship star is one of my faves! So pretty.
