Dresden Progress

Well, if you can image 9 of these lovely Dresden plate blocks being sewn together in a little while ... I must make some calzones for two of my co-teachers. A nice Friday treat!

I'm thinking of copying the book and putting a little circle where the blocks meet. My blocks turned out really big, huge in fact, because I cut the trapezoids (wedges) small. The finished block is like 22" square! I'm thinking a nice vibrant border will do nicely.

    Beautiful!! I am so in love with Dresden plates! I don't think I've seen one this big - it's fantastic :) Can't wait to see your progress on this project.
