My girl Rachel has some great patterns out! Her latest is "Smitten" ... and I'm ... well ... smitten! I needed to make a quilt for a Relay for Life team. They wanted purple so I used her pattern to create "Hope". It is a raffle quilt for them to raise money to find a cure for cancer.

The Mr. was in the fields. Being that he is my quilt holder, I needed to improvise. Yes, I have two four year olds = 4 hands! Score! But wait ... they have short legs. Grrrr. I know we'll throw it over the porch railing.

And they couldn't resist peeking over the top. Cute stuff on this Mother's Day!

This is a "make again" kind of pattern ... simple ... versatile ... quick!

  1. i love this pattern! i've just finished several quilts and am at kind of a stand-still trying to figure what to make next... maybe this is the one!

  2. ooooh. purple. pretty.

*hey - add the pics to my flickr group - please mam*

  3. Beautiful quilt and adorable holders!
