Meant to "B" Forever

This summer my husband's cousin got married. James and Hannah had a lovely wedding and they are lovely people. I made this quilt for their bedroom. I thought I better put some pictures of the quilt on here!

I used Rachel Griffith's "Escapade" pattern.
I added white strips between each row to add width.

The label is wonderful. I print all my labels on t-shirt transfers and then iron them to coordinating fabric from the quilt. Then I fuse them to the quilt and sew them on.
You can get lots of details and pictures on your label.

I truly love to make quilts for people. I think James and Hannah liked it!

  2. It is the best feeling to give a quilt to someone who treasures it... and judging by their looks that's just what you did :) Lovely quilt!

  3. That is one special gift. My Grandma made a quilt (her first one) for my son when he was born. It was the best gift that he received that day. :)
